Billy Davis was born April 26, 1957 in Ada, Oklahoma. He graduated from Ada High School in 1975. After two years of service in the United States Navy, He began preaching by appointment in the San Diego area. His first full-time work as an evangelist was with the churches in Palm Springs and Indio California 1978-82. Billy returned to Ada, Oklahoma and preached for the Francis Church of Christ and attended and graduated from East Central University 1982-1986. He received a BA in History with honors and was presented an academic achievement award. For the next fifteen years he labored in the gospel with churches in the State of Texas: 1986 -1990 in Vernon, 1990-1995 in Amarillo, 1995-1999 in Sinton, and 1999-2001 in The Woodlands. Billy next moved to work with churches in Clearwater, Florida 2001-2004 and Oakdale, California 2004-2011. In connection with his work 120 souls have been baptized into Christ. He has conducted gospel meetings and spoken in lectureships in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Florida and California. He has co-hosted a call in radio program and written articles for newspapers and a several periodicals. He considers his many home Bible studies to be, perhaps, his must fruitful work. Billy met and married his wife Melissa in 1985, and they have four children: Kristin, Jennie, Tabitha and Caleb.  Billy is pleased to work with the Mustang church of Christ to proclaim the gospel both publicly and from house to house.
